Interfacing Pure Data with Faust

This paper reports on a new plugin interface for Grame’s functional DSP programming language Faust. The interface allows Faust programs to be run as externals in Miller Puckette’s Pd (Pure Data), making it possible to extend Pd with new audio objects programmed in Faust.
